'Everyday is a chest day' right bros?! 😂⁣ ⁣ First a bit of a theory for all the ladies out there who's scared to get buffed after one push-up 🤨 ⁣ ⁣ Pecs are one of the largest muscle groups in upper body, they are responsible for good posture and upright stability; involved in many daily activities like lifting up (your child if you have one), pushing away someone who bothers you, picking things up, carrying groceries, etc. And if you want to be strong af why don't be strong everywhere?!⁣ ⁣ Here are ones of my favorite for chest day:⁣ ⁣ 1. DB incline bench press 4×8-10⁣ 2. DB flat bench press 4×8-10⁣ 3. Cable lower chest raise 4×12-15⁣ 4. Seated incline chest press 4×8-10⁣ 5. Push-ups 4×failure (start from regular push-ups, then drop on your knees; if you're a beginner - do kneeling push-ups) ⁣ ⁣ Don't forget to save and take me to the gym with you❤⁣ ⁣

10 Scientific MUST-DOS for Optimizing Muscular Hypertrophy (Aka muscle growth ) • Tag someone who needs these tips in their life. • 1️⃣ FREQUENCY - Training a muscle group twice a week is better than one. Don’t over do it. 2️⃣ VOLUME - 10-20 sets per muscle group per week is ideal based on your personal recovery. 3️⃣ EFFORT - most exercises should be performed to near failure. Actual failure doesn’t have to be reached (you don’t want to injure or have slow recovery) 4️⃣ LOADS - all loads build muscle. Most tend to do moderate (mixing up rep ranges can lead to better results) 5️⃣ EXERCISE SELECTION - both multi joint and singe joint exercises build muscle. Multi joint exercises should be prioritized but, single joint exercises are good for maximizing growth as they can target certain muscles. 6️⃣ Exercise Order - muscles targeted earlier in a workout will have slightly better gains - prioritize according to your preferences. 7️⃣ Tempo - faster and slower tempos both lead to muscle growth but, you must focus on the eccentric portion of the exercise not allowing gravity to do the work. Anywhere from 2-6 seconds per rep yield similar results. Focus on the muscle. ECCENTRIC - the lengthening of muscle. 8️⃣ REST - 2-3 min between sets tend to maximize muscle growth. Listen to your body. You will need more rest for heavier sets and visa-versa. 9️⃣ SPLITS - all popular splits can achieve muscle growth. Total body workouts have shown to be as effective as body part splits. 🔟 Periodization - having a plan is more effective than winging it. • Bonus Tip: LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. • I would love to take the credit for these tips but all of this info was absorbed from the amazing @bretcontreras1 in his book “glute lab.” • I have grown so much after applying these 10 steps. Some days I wake up and I have anxiety for NO reason but I pick myself up, do what works for me. Whether it’s working out, hanging out with friends (which I feel it is so important to have a good circle of friends!), or just watching YouTube videos. It may not be mental health awareness month, day or week, but I feel like this shouldn’t just be spoken about during those times. goodmorning 🌈😌 . Any of you absolutely love turmeric?! I mean, how can you not. I was really happy to find this and I'm super excited to have added it to my "supplement" regimen--to clarify, no, as a vegan I do not "need" a turmeric supplement. 😂 But as a mostly strength athlete (almost athlete? Idk, let me dream 😭) I tend to have soreness and knots (I know I know, I'm working on that lol). . Turmeric (specifically its compound curcumin) is a natural strong anti-inflammatory! It's also high in antioxidants, improves brain function, and can help fight depression! 🤓 You do need to take it in juice/supplement form though as the spice itself is pretty weak! It does have a really strong earthy flavor, but I like that! And I mean if you can do a shot of liquor you can do a shot of turmeric 😜 . Oh and this oatmeal is pretty good too 👊

Monday who? Lol it's a regular day as always but today is the last day of deload.. finished off with conventional deadlifts. decided to take a break from sumos. . I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pull this 275lbs because last time I did conventional deadlifts I was stuck at 265lbs I believe 🤔 or 255lbs I dont fucking remember lol that's how long I haven't been doing them. Deload week is almost over 😁 - Today was a short workout just had alot on my mind and the only place I can just forget everything is the gym. I did bench & conventional deadlifts since I haven't done them in a long time. - I didnt record this but I finally had the courage to ask someone to spot me. I was doing 115lbs and last I did it by myself the bar almost killed me lol. I did 3 reps which isnt bad.
