My 🧡 For Training Delts Goes Out To These 6 Movements: 🧡 DB Side Lateral Raises - gives you that cartoon look (hold the DBs in front of your legs, lead with your elbows not with your hands, utilize the side delts, have a stable base - no swinging, keep the tension on your delts the whole time) 🧡 Seated DB shoulder press - overall shoulder exercise (put bench at a slight incline or straight up and down, find whats most comfortable, move arms straight up and down, control your breathing- in on the way down, out on the way up) 🧡 Bent over DB rear delt raises- (shoulders are the hinges not the traps, this is a small muscle group meaning you should execute a smaller range of motion with intensity) 🧡 Cable Lateral Raises - again for that 3D look (horizontal with the ground, keep tension the whole time, give it all you got, get that blood flowing. Try behind the back for a different variation) 🧡 DB Front Raises - start with DB’s at the side, parallel to the ground, when you come up think about squeezing that front delt, pronate your hands - facing the ground, feel the blood flowing 🧡 DB Shrugs - turtle shell look (i like DB’s over barbells simply because it allows you to lift with more control. Use your grips if you need to. Move the weight with your traps, exhaust your traps, hunch your body and jam the weight up till exhaustion) Hope you learned something new. 455lbs? Yes please! Not the prettiest lift in this video but it was post-workout and my third attempt at getting it on camera 😅. Also hit 205 for my front squats today. Not a super high weight but a big deal for me since my front squat is probably my worst compound lift. Today was the first time I’ve been able to comfortably do more than 185 and for multiple reps so yay me 🤗. I won’t be satisfied though until my squats are 400+ so gotta keep working.
